Choose the Correct CX Family Before the Exact Variant
Start with Honda CX500 Parts or Honda CX650 Parts to narrow the catalog by engine family. From there, use the complete model designation shown on the motorcycle and in the product listing. Similar model names do not guarantee that chassis, electrical, intake, exhaust, braking or control components interchange.
CX500, CX500C and CX500D identify different motorcycle configurations. The C identifies the Custom version, while the D identifies the Deluxe. Do not assume a part listed for one version fits the others simply because all three belong to the CX500 family.
The same rule applies to the 650-class motorcycles. CX650C, CX650E and CX650 Turbo applications should be treated as separate models. Some service parts cross-reference across more than one CX version, but compatibility must be confirmed by the individual listing, stated year range and any dimensions, connector details or Honda OEM references provided.
