The mounting plates are heavy duty powder coated steel and bolt right to your front motor mounts. The spacers are TIG welded to the mounting plates. Everything bolts on using supplied mounting hardware and with no frame modifications. Mounting instructions are included with every kit. This is an easy mod to do to your bike and makes long trips much more comfortable due to the fact that your legs are extended forward rather than bent.
