About the Kawasaki KLX650
A model guide for KLX650 and KLX650R clutch, carburetor, cooling and brake parts.
Kawasaki uses KLX650R for the A and D branches and KLX650 for the C branch. These 651cc liquid-cooled four-stroke singles share a family name, but parts coverage varies by suffix and year. Keep the X in KLX650: KL650 is a separate model application.
Use the suffix to choose the right repair kit
The A-model rear master-cylinder kit and C-model front kit repair different brake positions. The carburetor kit is listed for C models only. Clutch springs and a pump seal span selected A, C and D years, while the individual clutch plate lists A and C. Choose each component separately.

| Fitted assembly | Component markings, donor details and clear photographs | Repairs on a bike with replacement assemblies |
| Parts and quantities | Removed-part shape, dimensions and current package contents | Separating individual items from sets and kits |
