The CT70K is associated with the three-speed, automatic-clutch Trail 70 layout. Honda’s early specifications distinguish it from the manual-clutch, four-speed CT70H. A replacement engine can change the service parts required even when the frame still carries a K identity.

Compare the carburetor and wheel being repaired

The two float products cover different year groups and have visibly different shapes. Front and rear brake shoes have separate direct links. Engine-gasket and clutch-plate applications also end at different years, so the repair table keeps each range intact.

The guide links one carburetor-float product for CT70K 1970–1975 and another for 1978–1982, with photos showing their different shapes. Those listings do not confirm 1976–1977. Identify the fitted carburetor and float, especially after a replacement.
Can I buy CT70K rear brake shoes as well as front shoes?
