About the Kawasaki ZX750H Ninja ZX-7 / ZXR750

1989–1990 H-model service parts for the early Ninja ZX-7 and ZXR750.

Kawasaki Motorcycle Logo

The ZX750H is the early Ninja ZX-7 branch also known as ZXR750 across markets. Its 1989 H1 uses liquid cooling, including a radiator, water pump, thermostat and hoses. For engine work, note which engine joints and cooling-system connections will be disturbed so the repair order covers the actual seals needed.

Plan the fork service as two separate seal purchases

The linked fork oil seals come as a set of two, while the dust seals are sold individually. Both cover ZX750H 1989–1990. Carburetor rebuild kits, engine gaskets and front brake pads also have H-model options for those years. Keep the H code in the search to avoid mixing them with later M-model ZX-7R parts.

Kawasaki ZX750H parts questions

Is the ZX750H called Ninja ZX-7 or ZXR750?
Both names are used across markets for the H branch. Kawasaki’s U.S. H1 reference uses Ninja ZX-7. Choose ZX750H and the year to find the relevant service parts.
How many fork oil seals and dust seals are supplied for the ZX750H?
The linked oil-seal product contains two seals for ZX750H 1989–1990. The dust seals are a separate product sold individually. Order the quantity needed for each seal type.
Does the linked carburetor rebuild kit cover both H-model years?
Yes. It lists ZX750H 1989–1990. Match the carburetor bank fitted to the motorcycle if it has been replaced; the shared ZX-7 name is not enough to choose a kit for a different branch.
Are the linked ZX750H brake pads for the front or rear?
They are front brake pads for ZX750H 1989–1990. Compare the front caliper and pad shape. Rear-pad and caliper-repair requirements need their own product choice.
