About the Suzuki LS650
The Savage’s long-running name does not give every part the same years.
Suzuki introduced the LS650 Savage as a large single-cylinder cruiser with belt final drive. Its simple appearance makes it appealing for stock repairs and custom builds, but an engine gasket, carburetor kit and fork seal still belong to different assemblies with different application lists.
Choose the gasket or kit for the job being opened
The engine set covers a broader early-year range than the selected carburetor kit. Before an oil-leak repair, locate the joint and check the gasket list; before carburetor work, identify the fitted carburetor. Neither package name confirms that unrelated rubber plugs, intake parts or every seal is supplied.

Check before orderingIdentify your LS650 and fitted parts
- Confirm the full LS650 designation and model year from the motorcycle.
- For a modified bike, record the carburetor and fork identities rather than using the frame year alone.
- Locate an oil leak before selecting a gasket package and compare its actual contents with the repair.
