About the Honda CBX1050

Carburetor, engine-sealing and chassis service parts for the six-cylinder Honda CBX.

The Honda CBX combined a 1,047 cc six-cylinder engine with 24 valves. Its 1981 move toward touring brought a fairing, luggage and Pro-Link rear suspension, along with a front-fork increase from 35 mm to 39 mm. Those changes make the early/later distinction useful throughout a restoration.

1979–80 and 1981–82: separate the service applications

Carburetor kits and front master-cylinder kits divide into these two year groups, while the fork-seal dimensions change with the fitted fork. The cylinder-head and cylinder-base gasket examples cover 1979–80. Start with the year group, then identify the specific assembly or gasket joint being repaired.

Which front master-cylinder repair kit is listed for the CBX1050?
