About the Honda CL360 Scrambler
Start with the frame and engine separately, then identify the assembly you are repairing.
Use the starting numbers as an identification reference
Honda’s reproduced U.S. identification guide separates the 1974 CL360K0 and 1975 CL360K1. Its published starting numbers are shown below. They are starting identifiers, not a complete production-range decoder; a replaced engine needs its own application check. High exhausts or restored paint are supporting clues only.
Move from identification to the repair order
The CL360K service guide covers the featured 1974–1975 carburetor, fork and clutch purchases. Use this CL360 page to record the bike’s identity and changed assemblies. On a mixed-parts Scrambler, the frame year does not identify a replacement carburetor bank, engine or front end.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingCL360 identification checklist
- Photograph the full frame marking and model-year paperwork, rather than copying the first few digits.
- Record the complete engine number independently and note any known replacement engine.
- Photograph both carburetor markings, the fitted front fork and the part being replaced; include old seal dimensions for fork work.
