About the Kawasaki H2
Restoration and service parts for Kawasaki’s original 750 two-stroke triple.
Kawasaki introduced the original H2 in 1972 as a 750-class air-cooled two-stroke triple with a front disc brake and electronic ignition. That identity distinguishes the classic Mach IV from the modern Ninja H2 and provides a clear starting point for a period restoration.
Choosing H2 service parts
Plan the work by system: carburetor servicing, engine sealing, fork maintenance or rear drum repair. The selected products for those jobs list H2 1972–1975, while the checked wiring harness lists 1972–1973. Compare the fitted carburetors, brakes and wiring if the motorcycle combines components from different years.

Classic H2 and modern Ninja H2
The shared H2 name does not establish any parts interchange. This page’s examples concern the original 1970s two-stroke triple.
Engine gaskets and crankshaft seals
A gasket set’s supplied contents define the joints it covers. Do not assume it includes crankshaft seals or every part required for a complete two-stroke engine rebuild.
