About the Kawasaki ZR550
Use the ZR550 collection to find the correct suffix and separate engine-side and chassis work.
This ZR550 collection is the starting point for identifying the complete model and repair area. The examples here name ZR550B. Its dedicated guide takes the next step: checking carburetor-kit quantities, fitted fork seals and the correct rear brake caliper before choosing service parts.
The three repair ranges do not end together
The carburetor kit and fork seals below list ZR550B for 1990–1993. The rear brake pads list 1993–1998. In particular, a rear-pad match on a later motorcycle does not extend the carburetor-kit or fork-seal application to that year.

Parent collection and B-model guide
This page supports the broader ZR550 search and links to the more specific ZR550B guide. The featured B-model applications do not establish fitment for another suffix or a different Kawasaki 550.
Early service examples and later rear pads
The 1990–1993 carburetor and fork examples overlap the 1993–1998 rear-pad range only at 1993. Treat those ranges as separate product applications, not interchangeable generations.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingZR550 identification & fitment checks
- Record the complete ZR550 designation, suffix and year before selecting the model page.
- Identify carburetor markings and the installed fork assembly independently of the frame code.
- Confirm rear caliper position and pad shape for the rear-brake example; compare front-brake parts separately.
