About the Honda XR75
Early carburetor kits, later engine gaskets and clearly separated XR75 cable applications.
For an XR75 restoration, build the order by assembly and year. The carburetor kit covers 1973–1975, while the engine gasket set covers 1977–1978. Neither product establishes a 1976 application. Front brake shoes and the individual clutch plate cover 1973–1978, giving those repairs a different year range.
Keep ignition, clutch and cable coverage with each part
Contact points list 1973–1978; the condenser and clutch spring kit list 1973–1976. The throttle cable lists 1974–1978 and the front brake cable 1977–1978. Record the fitted controls, cable ends and routing before ordering cables for a rebuilt or modified bike.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingXR75 identification checklist
Keep the frame and engine records together. Confirm the model year using documentation that matches the motorcycle’s market and full model designation.
- Record the complete frame and engine numbers before ordering; keep photos of both markings.
- Retain any K-series designation and confirm the year using the appropriate Honda parts catalog for the market.
- Read the carburetor markings and inspect the throttle housing and cable ends, especially on a modified bike.
- Check the installed brake panel, clutch components and engine-cover shapes against the chosen listing.
