About the Suzuki DR250
A DR250 family guide that keeps suffixes, chassis parts and carburetor applications clear.
The DR250 family search brings together several complete Suzuki model designations. Fork seals, brake pads and engine service pieces are best organized by the assembly being repaired, while an S or SE suffix stays attached to the motorcycle’s identity. The dedicated DR250S page provides a closer look at that model’s featured carburetor, clutch and exhaust items.
Build the parts list around forks, front brakes or exhaust work
The fork seals list DR250 1982–1985 and the front pads 1990–1994. The diaphragm lists DR250S 1982. The exhaust-gasket pack lists DR250 1990–1993 and DR250S 1990–1992. For each job, match the fitted fork, caliper, carburetor or exhaust joint before deciding the order quantity.

The suffix stays with the bike
This page includes several DR250-related model tags. Collection membership does not mean a part lists every suffix; the product application must name the one you need.
Suspension and brakes
1980s seals and 1990s pads are separate applications
The fork-seal listing covers DR250 1982–1985. The featured front-pad listing covers DR250 1990–1994. Neither range expands the other.
DR250S carburetor
A 1982 diaphragm is a specific component
The selected slide diaphragm lists DR250S 1982. It is not a full carburetor kit and does not establish compatibility with later S or SE models.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingDR250 identification checklist
Record the motorcycle’s identification and check for replacement assemblies before choosing service parts.
- Copy the complete DR250, DR250F, DR250S or DR250SE designation and model year from the bike’s identification and documentation.
- Record the carburetor markings and inspect the fitted front fork and brake caliper before choosing service parts.
- Use the suffix and year shown by each product; do not transfer an S-model application to an SE or unsuffixed DR250 without explicit evidence.
Contact PartsNMore with the model year, frame and engine markings and clear photos of the component being repaired.
