About the Honda CBR250
Separate the early CBR250 four-cylinder family from later single- and twin-cylinder models.
Honda introduced the CBR250 FOUR in 1986, followed by CBR250R and CBR250RR names in the earlier four-cylinder family. The CBR250R introduced in 2011 used a single-cylinder engine; a later CBR250RR used a twin. The R or RR suffix alone therefore cannot identify a service part.
Choose the generation, then the repair position
Start with the engine generation for oil-filter selection: the current products list 1986–1994 and 2011–2013 as separate applications. Front and rear master-cylinder kits belong to the 2011–2013 service group. Match their position and the cylinder actually fitted before ordering.
Know your model before choosing partsHonda CBR250 repair checkpoints
Use the complete model, year and fitted assembly. Each product has its own application and package contents.
1986–1994 filter listing
This application belongs to the earlier CBR250 service group. Confirm the exact engine and filter arrangement within those years.
2011–2013 service listings
A separate filter and the featured master-cylinder repairs list these years. They do not inherit the earlier filter’s application.
Later CBR250RR
Honda’s later twin-cylinder RR is a distinct generation. The older RR name and the current collection title do not establish later-twin coverage.
Identify your model before orderingHonda CBR250 identification checklist
Use the identification on your machine and the component being repaired.
