About the Honda CBR600F
Choose the CBR600 generation before choosing the repair part.
Honda introduced the CBR600F in 1987 as a liquid-cooled DOHC four with a full fairing, built for both sporting use and everyday riding. Successive versions retained the CBR600F name while changing the engine, chassis and fuel system. Honda announced the fuel-injected F4i in Europe in September 2000, followed by its Japanese launch in March 2001.
One family, several different service applications
The carburetor kit linked below lists CBR600F2 for 1993–1994, while a different kit lists CBR600F3 for 1995–1998 and CBR600F4 for 1999–2000. Fork oil seals have their own boundaries: the early 1987–1990 CBR600F example is 37 × 50 × 11 mm. None of these applications establishes interchange for a complete engine, fork or brake assembly.

Early CBR600F
1987–1990 examples
The early fork oil seal listing is 37 × 50 × 11 mm. Confirm the forks fitted to your bike before using that size.
CBR600F2 and F3
Carburetor kit boundaries
The selected F2 kit starts at 1993. The selected F3 kit covers 1995–1998. A broad CBR600 search is not enough to choose between them.
CBR600F4 and F4i
Carburetors versus injection
The featured F4 carburetor kit lists 1999–2000. Later chassis or clutch applications do not extend that carburetor kit to an injected F4i.
Before orderingCBR600F identification checklist
- Read the complete frame/VIN marking and model label; record the year shown in the model documentation.
- Record the engine number separately if choosing internal engine or gasket parts.
- For carburetor work, record the carburetor markings and confirm whether the bike has carbs or fuel injection.
- Identify replacement forks, calipers and master cylinders from their own markings and dimensions.
