About the Kawasaki ZX1100
GPz1100 and ZX-11 repair parts, organized by generation and job.
The ZX1100 family includes the early air-cooled, fuel-injected ZX1100A GPz1100 and later carbureted machines. ZX1100C and ZX1100D are the Ninja ZX-11 / ZZ-R1100 generations; ZX1100E identifies the later GPZ1100. ZZ-R1100 is also commonly written ZZR1100. These names help identify the motorcycle, but the complete model code determines which parts selection to use.
Choose the fuel system, then the repair parts
A carburetor rebuild kit belongs to a carbureted application; it cannot repair the original A-series injection system. For clutch and chassis work, use the individual plate type, caliper position and fork assembly. The repair links below show useful year boundaries, including the different C and D fork-seal applications.

Later GPZ1100

Identify your motorcycle before orderingZX1100 identification checklist
Record the model year, full model code and any replacement assemblies.
Read the full model designation
Compare the frame identification, registration and market-specific model documentation. Preserve the model letter and suffix; a GPz1100 decal alone cannot separate the early and later machines.
Identify the fitted assembly
Photograph the injection or carburetor assembly, fork markings and relevant caliper. Record engine markings separately if the engine may have been changed.
Contact PartsNMore with the model year, complete model code and clear photographs of the relevant markings and component.
