About the Honda CB600 range
A starting point for CB600 owners, with the full model designation retained on every repair example.
The CB600 family includes the CB600F, known as the Hornet and, in North America, the Honda 599. Honda’s 2006 599 specifications identify the model as CB600F with a 599cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine. The complete designation is more useful than the displacement alone when selecting parts.
The catalogue records some engine-gasket applications as CB600 and fuel-system applications as CB600F or CB600F2. Those labels should be kept intact. This parent page helps you navigate the range; it does not broaden a CB600-labelled part to every suffix or model year.
Separate engine-gasket coverage from carburetor coverage
The selected engine gasket set lists CB600 1998–2002. The carburetor kit and bowl gasket list CB600F 1998–2006, while the featured rear master-cylinder kit lists CB600F 2004–2006. Select each component from its own application instead of using the longest range for the entire repair.
