The Super Sport spans the original single-cam CB750F and the redesigned twin-cam model. The 1979 F brought a 16-valve DOHC engine to Honda’s sporting 750, with flowing bodywork and development influenced by endurance racing.

Use 1975–1978 SOHC or 1979–1982 DOHC as the starting point for engine parts. Carburetor kits divide into smaller groups, while the selected fork seals change at 1981. The comparisons below keep those changes separate.

SOHC Super Sport

The early F belongs to the single-cam family. Later SOHC sport versions use ComStar wheels, twin front discs and a rear disc; verify the year and market equipment when selecting chassis parts.

The redesigned F uses a 16-valve twin-cam engine. Its engine-gasket application differs from the SOHC F, while carburetor and fork service still require their own year checks.
