About the Honda CB600F Hornet and 599

Carburetor, spark and rear-brake service have different application boundaries.

The CB600F is known as the Hornet and Honda 599. Honda’s 2006 599 specification identifies a 599cc liquid-cooled inline four under the CB600F model code. Keeping that code in your search helps separate this motorcycle from Honda’s other 600cc models.

The fuel-system examples here are carburetor parts. A bowl gasket seals the bowl joint, while a rebuild kit supplies its stated service pieces for a wider repair. These carburetor applications must not be carried over to a fuel-injected motorcycle simply because it shares the Hornet name.

Check the ignition and rear brake independently

Do these carburetor kits fit every Honda Hornet?
No. The featured kit lists CB600F 1998–2006 carburetor applications. It does not establish fitment for fuel-injected Hornets or other motorcycles using the Hornet name.
