About the Honda VTX1800
A large V-twin family with trim-specific service applications.
Honda presented the VTX as its flagship American custom motorcycle in 2001. Its liquid-cooled V-twin used programmed fuel injection, and the chassis combined an inverted front fork with linked front and rear braking. For a bike kept in regular use, those systems make accurate brake-position and fuel-system identification particularly useful.
Carry the complete trim into the parts search
The catalog distinguishes C, R, S, N, F and T applications, often with additional numbered suffixes. Coverage also differs by component: the selected front pads list VTX1800C 2003–2004, while the front master-cylinder kit includes C 2002–2004. Read each application rather than treating a shared VTX1800 title as complete fitment information.

Use these distinctions to identify the motorcycle and the repair. Individual product applications determine fitment.
VTX1800C
Use the C collection when the motorcycle is a C. Numbered C variants are listed separately on some products, so retain that extra detail.

R, S, N, F and T applications appear individually in the catalog. Wheel, bodywork and control parts need the specific trim rather than a family-level match.

Keep these details together before ordering. Confirm the installed assembly when the motorcycle has been modified.
Full model and year
Record the complete trim code, numbered suffix where present, model year and original market.
Front or rear brake part
Identify the caliper or master cylinder being serviced. Compare the original part’s shape and markings with the selected listing.
Electrical connections
Check connectors, terminal arrangement and mounting details before selecting a coil or relay.
Modified controls and suspension
Record changed levers, master cylinders, handlebars or forks. A model match alone cannot identify an aftermarket assembly.
