The early Honda XL125 was a compact dual-purpose motorcycle with a four-stroke single and a two-valve cylinder head. A 1974 road test documented changes from the SL predecessor in its engine, frame and suspension. Identify the motorcycle and its components before borrowing a parts recommendation from a similar-looking Honda.

Choose the parts for an XL125 restoration

Start with the repair scope: a carburetor rebuild, an engine gasket job, drum-brake service or clutch work. The linked carburetor kit names 1976 only.
