About the Honda CBR1000RR
Service your CBR1000RR with clear fork, oil-filter, rear brake and clutch applications.
Honda introduced the CBR1000RR for 2004, drawing on technology developed for its RC211V MotoGP machine. The RR has its own model history alongside the older CBR1000F. For maintenance, the full designation and year help you select a service part; the fork, brake or engine fitted to a modified motorcycle also needs to be identified.
Plan an oil change, fork service or early-RR brake repair
The oil filter below lists CBR1000RR 2004–2015. The fork oil-seal set lists 2004–2014 and measures 43 × 54 × 11 mm. For early RR repairs, the rear pads list 2004–2005 and the individual clutch plate lists 2004. Use the appropriate application for each job and compare any replacement fork or caliper directly.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingCBR1000RR identification checklist
Use the motorcycle’s own markings. For an imported or modified bike, include the market and photos of the assembly being repaired.
- Model and market: Record the complete model designation and model year from the motorcycle label and matching documents.
- Frame and engine: Photograph the frame/VIN marking and engine number separately. A replacement engine needs its own identification.
- Fitted component: Note fork dimensions, rear-caliper markings, clutch-plate position and the installed filter housing, as relevant to the repair.
- Product match: Compare the exact model-year application, dimensions and package contents. Confirm any unlisted year or component mismatch before ordering.
