About the Honda VFR750
VFR750F repair parts and VFR750R RC30 service parts, clearly separated.
Honda introduced the VFR750F RC24 in 1986, followed by the race-derived VFR750R RC30 in 1987. The VFR750F later evolved into the RC36. These identities are useful starting points for a parts search, but the component’s exact application still decides the order. Keep the full model designation when moving between the road-bike and RC30 ranges.
Early F-model, later F-model or RC30?
For VFR750F parts, compare the 1986 fork-seal example with the larger 1990–1997 set, and use the 1994–1997 application for the featured carburetor kit. The VFR750R RC30 parts guide instead focuses on rear brakes, clutch hydraulics and oil filters with explicit R-model years.

Keep F-model generation changes separate from the RC30’s component applications.

Early fork and engine parts
The featured fork oil seals list VFR750F 1986. The early engine-gasket set separately lists 1986–1989.
Parts checkpoint: Do not use the gasket range to fill a gap in a fork-seal application.

Fork seals and carburetor kits
The selected 41 × 54 × 11 mm fork seals list 1990–1997, while the carburetor kit featured here lists 1994–1997.
Parts checkpoint: Match the carburetor body and fitted fork independently.

Use R-model evidence
The selected rear brake pads and clutch slave-cylinder kit each list VFR750R 1990. The oil filter has a separate 1988–1990 range.
Parts checkpoint: Keep the RC30 separate from the F model and from RVF750R applications.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingVFR750 identification checklist
Record the complete model and documented frame identity, then identify the carburetors, fork or hydraulic component being repaired.
- Full model: Record the complete VFR750 designation, year and market specification.
- Frame identity: Compare frame markings with the Honda documentation for the motorcycle; retain RC24, RC36 or RC30 where documented.
- Carburetors and forks: Record the fitted carburetor bodies and fork seal dimensions rather than relying on bodywork.
- Hydraulic component: Identify clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder or brake component separately.
