About the Suzuki TL1000R
Clutch-plate references and service parts for Suzuki’s TL1000R V-twin.
Suzuki introduced the TL1000R in 1998 with a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled V-twin and an aluminum twin-spar frame. Its chassis identity differs from the TL1000S, so shared TL branding should not replace an R-specific parts check.
Match each clutch plate to its place in the stack
The plate references below separate 21441-02F10 for 1998–2000, 21441-02F30 for 2001–2003 and 21442-02F10 for 1998–2003. Each plate is sold individually. Use the correct service information and the removed plate to confirm its type, dimensions, stack position and required quantity.

Frame, engine and component markingsSuzuki TL1000R identification
Use the complete frame/model identification and the correct market documentation. Identify a replacement engine, carburetor or front end separately from the frame.
- Confirm the R model and year; do not transfer a TL1000S application.
- Record plate references, dimensions and stack position before ordering individual pieces.
- Compare the airbox sealing edge, rear caliper and fork dust-seal profile with the fitted assemblies.
A shared model prefix or similar appearance does not establish the model year or parts fitment.
