About the Yamaha YZ250
Three YZ250 fork-seal size examples, with explicit later-year gaps.
The YZ250 has a long service history, and the selected parts cover widely separated years. The carburetor kit lists 2000–2013 while the featured engine gasket set lists 1997–1998. The fork-seal examples below span early and later assemblies and should be compared using the motorcycle’s year and the fork actually installed.
Fork diameter and seal profile both matter
The selected pairs are 34 × 46 × 10.5 mm, 38 × 50 × 8/9.5 mm and 48 × 58 × 8.5/10 mm. Each contains two oil seals. The later pair lists 2004–2007 and 2010–2011, leaving 2008–2009 unconfirmed in this listing. A shared seal size or a nearby YZ250F application does not fill that gap.

| Later fork-seal pair | 2004–2007 and 2010–2011; 48 × 58 × 8.5/10 mm | 2008–2009 are not established by this product application. |

Identify your motorcycle before orderingYZ250 model and component checklist
- Confirm the complete model designation and model year. Keep YZ250WR and YZ250F suffixes when present.
- Record the engine and carburetor markings before choosing internal engine or fuel-system service parts.
- Inspect fork and brake equipment for changes. Preserve application gaps instead of extending a range across an omitted year.
