About the Honda CB92
Restore the early CB identity while checking each component’s own application.
Honda introduced the Benly CB92 Super Sports in 1959 as the first motorcycle to carry the CB name. Its 124 cc, air-cooled OHC four-stroke twin established a sporting direction for the range. That history helps identify the model, but it does not make later CB-series or other Benly parts interchangeable.
Separate the carburetor range from 1959 examples
The linked carburetor rebuild kit lists CB92 for 1959–1963. The steel clutch plate and tank cap below list 1959. Keep those narrower applications intact and compare carburetor markings, clutch plate geometry and the actual tank neck before ordering.

1959–1963 carburetor-kit coverage
The carburetor kit’s listed range applies to that kit. Check its contents and fitted carburetor; it does not extend the 1959-only cap or steel-plate examples to later years.
Steel plate and tank cap
The plain steel plate belongs within the clutch stack and is sold individually. The cap must match the filler-neck arrangement. Neither can be selected from the motorcycle’s historical engine size alone.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingCB92 identification & fitment checks
- Record CB92 and the model year from the identification records and frame/engine markings.
- Compare the installed carburetor identification and kit contents before planning a rebuild.
- Check the clutch plate’s tang pattern and thickness, and the tank cap’s engagement and sealing face separately.
