Honda C70 and C50 Super Cub Fitment Guide

PartsNMore’s Honda C collection is overwhelmingly centered on the later step-through C70 family, with the largest selection for 1980–1983 Passport applications. The catalog also contains early-1970s C70 and C70M tags, later C70 service listings and selected C50 applications. Treat the family name, full model code and year range as fitment boundaries.

The C70 name does not describe one universal specification. Early C70M/Honda 70 machines, later U.S. C70 Passport models and other-market Super Cub equipment were cataloged separately. Honda changed engine, ignition, shift-system, body and equipment details over time. Coverage is deepest for 1980–1983; individual listings also cover 1971–1972 and other year slices.

Honda also used C70 for a 1957 250cc Dream twin that is entirely unrelated to the later 72cc C70 Super Cub/Passport family. Never select a part from the C70 code alone. Confirm whether the motorcycle is a Dream, Passport, Honda 70 or Super Cub, then match its year, market and product-level application.

The C50 and later C70 share a step-through Super Cub layout but use different engine sizes and specifications. Selected service parts may also list CT70, Z50, XR50R or CRF50F applications, but a shared OEM number on one item does not make the motorcycles interchangeable. The road-going C70 and trail-oriented CT70 are distinct models.

Confirm the family name, complete code and suffix, production year, destination market, frame and engine numbers when available, electrical specification, mounting details and included quantity. Use a confirmed Honda OEM or reference number as an additional match. Aftermarket replacements are not genuine Honda unless the listing identifies them that way.
