RT100 and RT180 Two-Stroke Play Bikes
Yamaha’s technical history groups the RT100 and RT180 among its two-stroke play bikes—motorcycles intended for recreational use and as an approachable entry into riding. This collection follows the exact model information attached to the current catalog, with RT100 product tags collectively spanning 1990–2000 and RT180 tags spanning 1990–1998. Those are the collection’s combined tag ranges, not a promise that every item fits every year.
The RT100 and RT180 are separate motorcycles, so the shared RT name is not enough to establish compatibility. They should also not be confused with Yamaha’s much earlier RT-1. Yamaha identifies the 1970 RT-1 as a separate 351 cc trail motorcycle, and current exact-model inventory here is centered on RT100 and RT180. Parts for an RT-1, RT2, RT3 or RT360 require their own verified model identity.
