Honda MR Elsinore Model and Fitment Guide

Current coverage is strongest for the 1976 MR250 and 1975–1977 MR175, with a smaller selection for the 1974–1975 MR50. Their shared Elsinore-era identity does not make engine, electrical or chassis components interchangeable.

The MR250 is the best-stocked MR model in the current catalog, and its meaningful coverage is centered on 1976. A broad gasket listing may mention another year, but that should not be treated as evidence of a complete 1977 MR250 catalog. Match engine, carburetor, clutch, exhaust, ignition, brakes, suspension and controls to the exact year stated on each product page.

MR175 coverage spans 1975, 1976 and 1977, with 1976 appearing most often. The smaller-displacement MR175 has its own carburetion, ignition, clutch, exhaust and chassis applications. Electrical voltage and connector details also matter; never substitute an MR250 or another Honda single solely because the part looks similar.

The compact MR50 is a separate 49cc model with limited 1974–1975 coverage. Its mini-bike dimensions, engine, controls and running gear should be treated independently from MR175 and MR250 components. Order only from a listing that explicitly names MR50 and the required year.
