TT-R Models Range From Youth Bikes to Full-Size Trail Motorcycles
Yamaha styles the name TT-R, while product catalogs and rider searches often use TTR without the hyphen. Yamaha’s history records the TT-R125 debut in 2000 as a wide-range play-off bike, with a purpose-developed four-stroke engine, five-speed transmission and trail-oriented chassis. The broader PartsNMore collection also includes model-tagged applications for TTR90, TTR225, TTR230 and TTR250 motorcycles.
These displacements are separate models, not interchangeable versions of one chassis. Electric-start suffixes such as TTR90E or TTR125E and wheel-size variants can change electrical, control, chassis and service-part requirements. The earlier Yamaha TT family is also a separate browsing route. Shared letters or a similar displacement do not establish compatibility between TT and TT-R motorcycles.
