About the Honda VF
Keep the VF model, suffix and fitted assembly together when choosing V4 service parts.
Honda introduced the VF750 Sabre and Magna in 1982 with a liquid-cooled V4 engine. The VF family now brings several displacements and suffixes together in this collection. Choose the relevant VF model above and record the complete designation before planning engine, carburetor or chassis work.
Build the fuel-system and engine orders separately
A fuel-system overhaul and an engine reseal need different parts checks. The featured carb kit includes selected VF750C, VF750S and VF750F applications, while the engine gasket set lists C and S models only. Compare the actual carburetors and engine joints rather than carrying the carb-kit coverage into a gasket order. Fork seals require their own model and dimension match.

Carb-kit year groups
The linked kit lists VF750C 1982–1986, VF750S 1982–1983, VF750F 1983–1985 and VF1000F 1984. Check the relevant group rather than one combined range.
VF750 engine gaskets
The selected engine set lists VF750C and VF750S for 1982–1985. Its application does not include VF750F.
Fork seals are assembly-specific
The featured oil seals list VF750C 1982–1984, VF500C 1984–1985 and VF500F 1984–1986 among their applications. External dust seals require a separate check.
Identify your model before orderingHonda VF identification checklist
Use the identification on your machine and the component being repaired.
- Read the VF displacement, full suffix and model year from the machine.
- Record engine and carburetor markings before ordering internal or fuel-system parts.
- Identify the installed fork and brake equipment, especially on a bike with modified controls.
