Repair choices by year and component

Yamaha’s technical review dates the TW200’s introduction to 1987 and describes the 2000 TW200E update with a 220 mm front disc brake. Use the complete model and year, then identify the component fitted to your motorcycle.

Clutch plate service

The TW200 clutch plate replaces Yamaha reference 537-16321-00 and covers TW200 1987–1994 and 1996–1998. It is sold individually; compare the plate pattern and stack position with your clutch before ordering.

Fork oil seals

The 33 × 45 × 10.5 mm fork seal set is sold as two and covers TW200 1987–2006. Compare the measurements with the fitted fork if the front end has been changed.

Front drum-brake service

The front brake shoes cover TW200 1987–1991 and replace Yamaha reference 183-W2536-00. They are sold individually; confirm your motorcycle has the matching front drum assembly.

Choosing parts for the Yamaha TW200

Match the year to each part: the clutch plate covers TW200 1987–1994 and 1996–1998; the fork seals cover 1987–2006; and the front shoes cover 1987–1991. For a 1995 clutch repair, verify a year-specific plate against the original clutch.
