About the Honda CB350F Four
A compact Honda Four with its own engine, carburetors and restoration parts.
Introduced in 1972, the CB350 Four brought Honda's air-cooled overhead-cam inline-four layout into the 350 class. It is a separate motorcycle from the CB350 twin, not a trim package. The four-cylinder engine is the essential distinction when selecting carburetor and engine-gasket parts.
Engine work and chassis work follow different applications
The carburetor kit and rear shoes featured here cover 1972–1974. The engine gasket set and fork seals specify 1973–1974. Keeping those boundaries visible makes it easier to plan a 1972 restoration without accidentally borrowing a later product's coverage. For a two-cylinder bike, use the CB350K or CB350G guide.

Plan the Four's repairs by assembly instead of assigning one year range to everything on the bike.
Four-cylinder engine
Use the F-model gasket application
The featured engine set lists CB350F 1973–1974. A CB350K twin set has a different application, even though both motorcycles carry a 350 badge.
1972–1974 brakes
Separate front caliper and rear shoes
The featured front piston and rear shoes both list these F-model years. One is a hydraulic caliper component; the other supplies the rear drum's friction material.
1973–1974 fork application
Oil seals and dust seals have different jobs
Fork oil seals retain the oil inside the fork. External dust seals keep dirt away from the sliding tube and oil-seal area.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingCB350F frame, engine and component checks
A useful identification record includes the engine and the parts attached to it. This checklist does not assign a production year from a serial number.
CB350F identification checklistWhat to record before ordering
| Check | What to record | How it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | Four cylinders; full engine stamping | Distinguishes the Four from K/G twins. |
| Frame | Full stamped number and model-year record | Keeps the chassis identity separate from an engine swap. |
| Carburetors | Bank photographs and body markings | Identifies the fitted fuel-system assembly. |
| Brakes and forks | Front caliper, rear hub and fork details | Separates brake positions and individual fork applications. |
