About the Honda CB360G
Carburetor and clutch service parts, with a focused route to the G’s hydraulic front disc brake components.
The CB360G’s hydraulic front disc brake is a clear distinction within Honda’s 356cc CB360 family. Honda’s original CB360/CB360G manual gives the G separate front-brake instructions for that system. For a restoration, the caliper, hose and master cylinder identify the assembly to inspect before choosing a piston or seal, particularly if the wheel, fork or controls have been replaced.
Front caliper pistons and piston sealing rings
A caliper piston and its sealing ring are separate parts. Inspect the piston surface, caliper bore and seal groove during brake work, then match the replacement dimensions and reference to the fitted caliper. The carb kit and clutch spring set provide separate 1974 G-model repair choices; neither establishes the application of an unrelated engine gasket or chassis part.

Use the G application for the part you need, then compare any related K or T listing on that same product.

The piston and sealing ring below explicitly list the G. They are separate products for the front caliper, with their own reference and shape checks.
Parts checkpoint: Confirm the installed caliper before ordering either part.

Shared carburetor and spring examples
The carb kit and clutch spring set list both CB360G and CB360K for 1974.
Parts checkpoint: The engine gasket set on the K page does not explicitly list CB360G.

Selected later applications
The linked caliper piston, sealing ring, carb kit and spring set also list CB360T (1975–1976).
Parts checkpoint: Shared individual parts do not confirm every brake or control component between models.

- Record the full frame number, CB360G designation and year before comparing catalog entries.
- Confirm the hydraulic front disc assembly and photograph the caliper, master cylinder and hose connections. Note any replacement fork or wheel.
- Compare the piston dimensions and original seal reference with the listing; keep the old components for identification until the replacements are confirmed.
- Record the engine number and both carburetor markings. Treat engine swaps or replacement carburetors as separate fitment checks.
