About the Honda GL650I Silver Wing Interstate
Fork service and engine resealing for the 1983 Silver Wing Interstate.
The GL650I is the touring version of Honda’s shaft-driven Silver Wing motorcycle. Its original fairing, wiring and luggage distinguish the Interstate from the standard GL650. Keep the I suffix when ordering, even if a previous owner removed the touring equipment or fitted a different front end.
Build a complete fork-seal order
For the original 1983 GL650I application, the 37 × 50 × 11 oil seals come as a pair. Dust seals are sold individually, so replacing one on each leg requires two. Check the removed seal markings and fork condition before ordering the parts needed for both legs.
Compare GL650 standard and Interstate parts. Scooter parts are in the FSC600 Silver Wing collection.
