About the Honda VTX1300S
Plan the S-model repair with the correct carburetor component and clutch-disc type.
The clutch uses more than one friction-disc type
The featured individual plate references Honda 22203-MCA-000, identified as friction Disc A in Honda’s 2003 VTX1300S clutch fiche. That original assembly shows six Disc A pieces, two other friction discs with reference 22201-MCA-000, and seven steel plates. Buying the same friction plate for every position would not reproduce that stack.
Keep bowl and fork-cap sealing jobs separate
The float references 16013-KR3-980 and the bowl gasket references 16163-MEA-671. Both list VTX1300S 2003–2007, as do the featured clutch plate and two-piece fork-cap O-ring set. Inspect float operation separately from the bowl joint; identify a cap leak separately from a leak around a sliding fork tube.
