About the Suzuki GSX-R1000
Start with the GSX-R1000 generation, then compare the engine, fork and airbox separately.
Suzuki introduced the GSX-R1000 for 2001, using a liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine and fuel injection. Later redesigns changed engine and chassis details, so the GSX-R family name alone is not a repair-parts specification. The catalog’s GSXR1000 spelling refers to that same model; it does not identify an earlier carbureted GSX-R1100.
Plan engine sealing, fork service and airbox work by their own years
The engine gasket set and dust seals list 2001–2002; the oil seals list 2001–2006. The air filter lists 2001–2002 and 2005–2006, omitting 2003–2004. Record any replacement engine, front end or airbox before choosing parts. For fork work, inspect the oil seal, dust seal and retaining hardware individually instead of assuming one product supplies the full repair.

Engine sealing
Gasket set: 2001–2002
Compare the gasket contents with the engine joints being opened. A set name does not establish that every oil seal is included.
Fork service
Oil seals and dust seals have different ranges
The selected oil seals list 2001–2006; the dust seals list 2001–2002. Match each part to the fitted fork.
Intake filter
2001–2002 and 2005–2006
The selected air filter does not list 2003–2004. Confirm the airbox and filter outline before ordering.
