About the Yamaha FJ1100
Carburetor, clutch and fork service for Yamaha’s 1,097cc FJ1100.
Introduced in 1984, the FJ1100 paired a 1,097cc engine with Yamaha’s lateral frame and 16-inch wheels at both ends. Yamaha developed the chassis around high-speed stability and used chain final drive. Its later evolution into the FJ1200 helps explain the shared model names found on some service parts, but each application still belongs to a specific component.
