About the Honda CB400F

Carburetor, engine and chassis parts for Honda’s original small Four.

Honda Motorcycle Logo

Introduced in December 1974, the CB400 Four developed the CB350 Four into a sportier motorcycle with a six-speed gearbox and distinctive four-into-one exhaust. The original export engine displaced 408 cc; a 398 cc version followed for Japan in 1976. That market difference matters when identifying an imported restoration project.
