About the Honda CB500K Four
Classic Four repair choices with explicit year and brake-position applications.
The CB500 Four introduced in 1971 is the four-cylinder motorcycle behind the classic CB500K restoration search. Its carburetor bank, engine and brake applications need to be kept separate from the CB500T twin and later CB500 generations.
Go directly to a Four application
The year buttons and repair shortcuts above the products provide direct classic-Four routes. Use the separate bowl gasket for the bowl joint, the front master-cylinder kit for hydraulic service, or the wider engine gasket set for a teardown. Each example lists its own Four years.
Choose the model and repairClassic CB500K Four versus later CB500 listings
| Motorcycle | Use this route | Parts-selection detail |
|---|---|---|
| Classic CB500K Four | The 1971, 1972 and 1973 year buttons above the product list. | The carburetor kit, bowl gasket, overhaul gasket set, front-cylinder kit and rear shoes below explicitly list those classic years. |
| CB500T twin | CB500T twin repair guide. | Choose twin-specific engine and carburetor applications. |
| Later CB500 motorcycle | CB500 generation guide. | A later model-year application appearing in the unfiltered grid is not an early Four application. |
A year filter narrows the product list; the exact product application and fitted component still decide the order.

| Check | What to record | How it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Year and generation | Classic Four or later K catalog application | Keeps the two repair groups separate. |
| Frame and engine | Both complete stamped identities | Records the fitted engine as well as the chassis. |
| Carburetors | Body markings and bowl profile | Separates the early repair kit from later bowl gaskets. |
| Forks and rear brake | Fork identity and rear-hub details | Matches the narrower seal and shoe applications. |
