About the Honda CB500T Twin
The DOHC twin has its own engine parts, even where individual chassis parts overlap the Four.
Honda's CB500T is a double-overhead-cam twin, announced in Japan in December 1974. The parts featured here use the 1975–1976 model applications in the catalog. Its two-cylinder engine keeps it separate from the early CB500K Four when choosing carburetor and engine-gasket parts.
Plan engine sealing and brake repairs by their actual components
The T-model carb kit and overhaul gasket set are clear starting points for fuel-system and engine work. For chassis service, the featured fork seals, front caliper piston and rear shoes all list CB500T 1975–1976. Useful shared applications belong to those named products, not to every part on another Honda model.

Inspect the piston during resealing
A pitted or corroded caliper piston can damage a new seal or interfere with movement. The featured piston lists both T-model years.
Rear drum brake
Shoes and operating hardware
Rear friction shoes work against the inside of the drum. Inspect the drum, cam and pivot hardware alongside the linings.

A complete repair record identifies the motorcycle and any replacement assemblies. Use the correct T-model reference for serial interpretation.
