Honda CB900C parts for repair and restoration
The CB900C Custom has an air-cooled inline-four, shaft final drive and a dual-range subtransmission. That drivetrain distinguishes it from the CB900F Super Sport. For brake and fork work, the year and the hardware actually fitted to the bike matter just as much as the CB900 badge.
Seal leaking fork tubes
The 37 × 50 × 11 mm fork oil seals are listed for the 1980–1982 CB900C and sold as a set of two. Inspect the tubes when replacing worn seals; a different front end calls for measuring the seals already installed.
Reseal the valve cover
The valve-cover gasket lists 1980–1982 CB900C applications and is sold individually. It seals the cover at the top of the cylinder head. Confirm the cover shape on an engine that may have been replaced.
Choose the front caliper kit
The 1981 caliper rebuild kit and 1982 kit have different listed CB900C applications. Both are sold as kits. Identify the fitted caliper before buying, especially for a 1980 bike with no listed application for these two kits.
Choosing parts for your CB900C
Use the Custom model code. Honda’s CB900C service manual covers its dual-range subtransmission and shaft final drive separately from the CB900F. Some engine service parts list both models, but that does not make their drive, suspension or brake parts interchangeable. Look for CB900C on the exact product application.
The caliper kits here cover 1981 and 1982 CB900C applications separately. A 1980 bike needs a separately confirmed kit. Match the caliper installed on the motorcycle before opening a repair kit.
Measure the front end if it is modified. The offered fork-seal set has two seals measuring 37 × 50 × 11 mm and lists 1980–1982 CB900C fitment. A fork assembly from another model may use a different seal even when the tank and frame still say CB900C.

Building a custom CB900C?
New bars and mirrors change where the cables run and how much space is available at full steering lock. Browse universal handlebars and grips and mirrors and adaptors, then measure clamp size, mirror threads and cable reach on your own Custom. These categories do not promise bolt-on fit.
