About the Honda CBR600RR
RR development changed the chassis as well as the engine.
The CBR600RR arrived in 2003 with a newly developed inline-four engine, an aluminum frame and Unit Pro-Link rear suspension influenced by Honda’s RC211V racing programme. Honda’s Japanese model history records inverted front forks for 2005 and a combined-ABS version added in 2009. Those milestones explain why year and equipment checks matter when ordering chassis service parts.
Use the application for the part you are replacing
The air filter featured here lists 2003–2006, the rear master-cylinder kit lists 2003–2004, and the fork oil seals list 2005–2011. The steel clutch plate has a longer application range. One broad clutch fitment does not make the brake or fork parts interchangeable across those years.

These are component-specific buying checks. Retain the exact model and year on each product.
Early RR service
2003–2004 examples
The linked rear master-cylinder kit and individual clutch plate explicitly list these early RR years.
Fork applications
2005–2011 oil-seal listing
The featured oil-seal set lists this range. Verify size and fork type, including any replacement fork assembly.
ABS and later motorcycles
Check RR and RA lines separately
Some clutch products list both RR and RA. That does not extend hydraulic brake parts to an ABS assembly.
Before orderingCBR600RR identification checklist
- Read the model/VIN label and record the complete model year and suffix.
- Confirm ABS equipment from the motorcycle and its model documentation before choosing brake parts.
- Identify the fork assembly and read the existing seal dimensions when selecting fork seals.
- For clutch work, compare plate material, thickness, tang pattern and stack position against the correct parts diagram.

CBR600RR service parts have different year ranges
| Linked service part | Listed model years | Supplied part and selection check |
|---|---|---|
| CBR600RR air filter | 2003–2006 | Sold individually; order the quantity required. Match the fitted airbox. |
| Rear brake master-cylinder kit | 2003–2004 | Rear hydraulic cylinder; confirm the fitted assembly and any ABS application separately. |
| CBR600RR fork oil seals | 2005–2011 | 41 × 54 × 11 mm; supplied as a set of two. |
| Early CBR600RR clutch plate | 2003–2004 | Sold individually; order the quantity required. Confirm its position in the clutch stack. |
| CBR600RR steel clutch plate | 2003–2021 | Sold individually; order the quantity required. A steel plate is a different component from a friction plate. |
These are the selected products’ CBR600RR applications, not one interchangeable package. A year match for a filter or clutch plate does not confirm brake or fork compatibility.
