About the Honda CL100K
Front-brake and float references for the CL100K, with separate gasket coverage.
The CL100K is the K-series branch of Honda’s small 99cc Scrambler family. Its engine, carburetor and front drum must each be matched to the fitted assembly when a restoration includes replacement parts. Keep the K designation when comparing this page with CL100S applications.
Use the reference as well as the year
The selected front shoes carry Honda replacement reference 45120-001-010. The separately sold carburetor float carries 16013-286-014. Those identifiers help compare the old components, while the linked product’s CL100K year range remains the fitment check. For engine work, compare the required cover and cylinder joints against the actual gasket-set contents before dismantling.
Identification and parts selectionCL100K parts by repair and reference
| Model or repair | Application or identifier | Before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Carburetor rebuild kit | 1970–1972 | Request the counted contents and jet sizes for the fitted carburetor; a separately listed float is not proof that the kit contains one. |
| Replacement float | 1970–1972; Honda 16013-286-014 | Sold individually. Compare float shape, hinge and clearance inside the bowl. |
| Front drum brake shoes | 1970–1972; Honda 45120-001-010 | Front position is listed. Obtain shoe diameter, width and confirmed package quantity before ordering a full brake service. |
| Engine gasket set | 1972–1974 | This range does not extend the earlier carb or front-shoe applications. |

Frame, engine & fitted componentsHonda CL100K identification checklist
Use these details to match your motorcycle and any replacement assemblies before ordering.
- Record the complete frame number, K-series model details and year from the motorcycle and its records.
- Compare the engine number with known replacement work. Choose gaskets for the installed engine and the actual cover or cylinder joint.
- Photograph the carburetor code, bowl and float arrangement. Retain the old service pieces until the replacements have been compared.
- Identify the front drum and hub, then compare shoe diameter, width and end shapes. Check rear brake parts under their own application.
