About the Honda CL350K Scrambler
CL350K repair choices with fork-seal sizes and separate clutch-plate applications.
The CL350K twin combines the Scrambler’s raised exhaust with model changes that matter during restoration. Honda’s U.S. identification guide distinguishes K0/K1, K2/K3 and K4/K5 product-code groups. Record the full frame and engine numbers before choosing the carburetor, engine or chassis parts; matching paint and exhaust alone cannot identify a donor assembly.
The fork and clutch need different comparisons
The early fork-seal pair has a 44 mm outside diameter; the later pair has a 46 mm outside diameter and a different height. Both have a 33 mm inside diameter. For the clutch, compare friction and steel plates separately and retain the original stack order. The steel listings below leave a 1969 application gap.
Identification and parts selectionCL350K identification and service boundaries
| Model or repair | Application or identifier | Before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| U.S. model identification | K0/K1: product code 291; K2/K3: 318; K4/K5: 345 | Use the full stamped frame and engine numbers with the Honda guide. These three-digit product codes are not complete serial numbers. |
| Early fork-seal pair | 1968–1971; 33 × 44 × 8.9 mm | Two oil seals. Compare the removed seal and fitted fork. |
| Later fork-seal pair | 1972–1973; 33 × 46 × 11 mm | The larger outside diameter and height prevent treating the two pairs as interchangeable. |
| Clutch friction plate | 1968–1973; Honda reference 22201-286-010 | Sold individually; steel plates and the complete stack quantity are separate. |
| 1969 steel-plate selection | The linked steel plates list 1968 and 1970–1973 | Send the removed plate dimensions and full model details for confirmation before ordering a 1969 replacement. |

Identify your motorcycle before orderingCL350K identification checklist
Use these checks to resolve the component-level differences shown in the current CL350K applications.
- Identity: Model year, documented K-series designation, frame and engine markings.
- Forks: Inside diameter, outside diameter and height from the old seal, plus fork identity.
- Carburetors: Body markings and the 1970–1973 kit application.
- Clutch stack: Identify each plate type and position. Do not fill a missing year from another plate’s coverage.
