About the Honda CMX450 Rebel
Bring a Rebel 450 back into service with careful checks of its fuel system and chassis.
The Rebel 450 is represented here under both CMX450 and CMX450C catalog names. Its fuel tap, carburetors and chassis are separate service areas: selecting a float does not identify the correct tap kit, and choosing fork seals does not establish the brake application.
Bring a stored Rebel 450 back into service
Inspect the tank, fuel tap and carburetors before putting together a fuel-system order. The float belongs inside the carburetor; a petcock kit repairs the tank tap. For the chassis, compare the fitted fork seals and rear drum shoes. Keep the 450 identification separate from CMX250 and later Rebel models.

The oil-seal example uses CMX450, while the fuel and rear-brake examples use CMX450C. Read the exact application on every selected product.
Fuel system
Float versus fuel-tap repair kit
A carburetor float controls fuel level inside the carburetor. A petcock repair kit services the tank tap; these are different repair locations.
Rear brake
Identify the drum assembly
The featured CMX450C shoes are rear drum-brake parts for 1986–1987. Confirm the fitted rear assembly before comparing shoes or disc pads.
