About the Honda CRF250X
Clutch and front brake service parts for Honda’s electric-start off-road CRF250X.
Honda describes the CRF250X as an off-road motorcycle with electric starting. For clutch and brake maintenance, the X designation helps you follow the correct parts application. Some individual plates list both R and X models, but the clutch stack, handlebar master cylinder and front caliper each need their own component check.
Build the clutch order from the plate types you need
The clutch plate and steel plate below both list CRF250X 2004–2005 and are sold individually. The steel plate provides the plain surface between friction plates. Compare thickness, tang pattern and stack order before choosing quantities. For front brake work, the master-cylinder kit covers 2004–2009 and the pad set covers 2004–2013.

Use the motorcycle’s own markings. For an imported or modified bike, include the market and photos of the assembly being repaired.
- Model and market: Record the complete model designation and model year from the motorcycle label and matching documents.
- Frame and engine: Photograph the frame/VIN marking and engine number separately. A replacement engine needs its own identification.
- Fitted component: Note clutch-plate type and stack position, front cylinder markings and caliper details, as relevant to the repair.
- Product match: Compare the exact model-year application, dimensions and package contents. Confirm any unlisted year or component mismatch before ordering.
