About the Honda CX650E Eurosport

Fork sealing, clutch plates and engine-gasket choices for the Eurosport.

Honda Motorcycle Logo

The CX650E Eurosport is the road-focused member of the CX650 range shown in Honda’s period Eurosport brochure. Its chassis and bodywork distinguish it from the Custom and Turbo. Keep the E designation with the model year when building a repair order, particularly for imported motorcycles or replacement engines.

Match clutch plates and springs separately

The shown clutch plate is sold individually; the spring kit is a separate product. Compare plate type and thickness, then assess the springs against the motorcycle’s service requirements. The fork seals have 1983–1984 coverage, the clutch items 1983–1985 and the engine-gasket set 1983–1986 in the catalog. Keep those ranges attached to their own products.

Know your CX650E Eurosport before choosing partsCX650E Eurosport model and repair differences

These year ranges describe the individual parts, not a worldwide production-year chart.

1983–1984 fork application

37 × 50 × 11 mm oil seals

The selected fork oil seals use a shorter E-model range than the shown clutch and engine-gasket products.

Parts checkpoint: Do not carry the gasket product page’s later years over to the fork seals.

1983–1985 clutch applications

Plates and springs are separate

The shown plate and spring kit each list CX650E 1983–1985. They still need separate condition and quantity checks.

Parts checkpoint: Identify the plate type and compare the original springs.

1983–1986 gasket product page

Engine and package checks

The engine-gasket product has the longest range of these examples. Check the engine identity and included gasket list before ordering.

Parts checkpoint: A longer catalog range is not a worldwide model-year chart.

Identify your motorcycle before orderingCX650E Eurosport identification checklist

Use the complete CX650E designation, actual model year and installed engine or fork when resolving a parts order.

  • E-model identity: Record the full designation and market details from the bike’s documentation.
  • Model year: Separate the model year from the date of first registration, especially on imports.
  • Fork assembly: Compare the 37 × 50 × 11 mm product page with the old seal and fitted fork.
  • Engine and clutch: Record the engine markings, plate type and the actual components being replaced.

Honda CX650E Eurosport parts questions

For my Honda CX650E Eurosport, which fork seals cover the Honda CX650E Eurosport?
The linked CX650E 1983–1984 oil seals measure 37 × 50 × 11 mm. Compare all three dimensions and the fork fitted to the bike, especially where the front end has been changed.
Before I order, are CX650E clutch plates and springs sold together?
No. The linked clutch plate is sold individually, and the spring kit is a separate product. Both list CX650E 1983–1985. Check the plate type and quantity required, then confirm the spring-kit contents for your repair.
For my Honda CX650E Eurosport, why do the CX650E fork seals and engine gaskets have different years?
Each item has its own application: the linked fork seals list 1983–1984, clutch items 1983–1985 and engine-gasket set 1983–1986. These catalog ranges do not establish production years or extend coverage to another component.
Before I order, can I choose CX650E gaskets using the Custom or Turbo designation?
Use an explicit CX650E engine application. The guide links an E-model engine gasket set; a CX650C Custom or CX650T Turbo application alone does not establish compatibility. Compare the supplied gasket list with the engine work being planned.
