MR50 Elsinore: choose the rubber or seal for the right location
Compare the model, the repair location and the part’s own application before ordering.
On an MR50 project, similar-looking rubber pieces can serve completely different assemblies. The cap seal fits at the fuel-filler cap, the petcock gasket belongs in the fuel-tap assembly, and the kickstart rubber covers the lever’s foot-contact area. Identify that location before comparing a replacement.
All three featured listings name MR50 1974–1975. They are individual service pieces, so they do not establish the contents of a complete restoration kit. A replacement tank, cap or tap must be checked on its own dimensions; the motorcycle’s model alone cannot confirm an aftermarket fitting.

- Confirm the MR50 model and 1974 or 1975 application; retain the original part reference where available.
- Identify whether fuel seepage is at the cap or the tap. Compare the seal at that joint and inspect the mating surfaces.
- Measure the kickstart lever’s rubber seat and compare its profile. Replacing the rubber does not repair a loose lever or internal kickstart mechanism.
