About the Honda NX250
Front-disc, rear-drum and fuel-level service parts for the NX250.
An NX250 maintenance order is easier to build when the front brake, rear brake and fuel-system work are treated as separate jobs. The front pads, rear shoes, fork seals and carburetor float below share a 1988–1990 application. That makes a useful starting point for chassis and carburetor service while retaining each component’s own fitment details.
Check the float and inlet valve as separate parts
The carburetor item below is a float and pin. Compare the float’s shape and pivot arrangement, then inspect the inlet needle and seat separately when investigating fuel level or overflow. For brake service, match front pad shape to the caliper and rear shoe shape to the drum.

Front pads and rear shoes
The front and rear service parts use different friction components. Match the brake position and compare the installed assembly, especially after wheel or brake swaps.
Clutch range stops earlier
The featured individual friction plate lists NX250 1988–1989. The 1990 coverage of the fork seals or brake parts does not establish a clutch-plate match for that year.
Identify your motorcycle before orderingNX250 identification checklist
Use the motorcycle’s identification and the fitted component together. A registration year or family name can leave important application details unresolved.
- Record the model year from the motorcycle and matching documentation.
- Identify front disc-brake and rear drum-brake components separately.
- Compare the carburetor float, pin and fitted carburetor before selecting fuel-system parts.
