About the Honda VT600 Shadow VLX
A C-versus-CD comparison for the Shadow VLX family, with direct model routes.
This VT600 family guide helps you choose between the VT600C and VT600CD Deluxe collections. Retain C or CD from the model label and original paperwork when narrowing the parts list. Paint, trim and accessories can change during ownership, so they are secondary to the full model identity and installed assemblies.
Shared parts still need separate C and CD applications
The selected carb kit lists both C and CD for 1999–2003. The engine gasket set featured here lists C only, while the dust-seal periods differ between C and CD. The comparison gives those differences together so a shared carburetor application does not become an assumption about the whole motorcycle.
